Bachelorette Party Nashville — Planning Tips

It’s Bachelorette Season All-Year-Round In Nashville!
While bride tribes run the streets of Nashville all-year-round, between March and September are the high tourist months. This is when Nashville’s weather is at its best and the majority of city events take place.

*Be careful of booking your bachelorette party during the NFL Draft, SEC Tournament, etc. as Broadway may be shut down to traffic for a day or two.

But if you happen to align the fling before the ring during these Nashville events, you can move the crew to Midtown and Music Row. Nashville Pedal Tavern runs party bikes through Midtown, providing for just as much of an incredible Nashville bachelorette party as the Broadway route

Plan, Reserve and Book Months in Advance
Make sure to reserve your Airbnb or hotel as early as possible if you want anything close to the heart of Nashville. Location is everything in Nashville, so don’t wait to see if the price goes down, it won’t, Nashville’s too popular.

You should also reserve your table at any high-end restaurant a month in advance to ensure your party can be accommodated for. The same goes for any Nashville entertainment. If you’re coming for the CMAs, girl you know you need to get those tickets the year before.

If you’re booking a Nashville Pedal Tavern party, definitely reserve your spot months in advance, as the Nashville party bike private tours books super quick, especially the weekend slots!

Nashville's #1 Bachelorette Party Bike Cruise

Typical Bachelorette Party in Nashville Budget
We recommend bringing at least $500 for fun money! Nashville can be pretty pricey depending on your taste and planned itinerary. If you’re going to Nashville, you might as well be ballin’ on your girl’s a bachelorette! For budget planning purposes, see the full cost of hosting a bachelorette in Nashville on TheNashBach.com.

Location, Location, Location

Picking your home base for the weekend is as important as picking the city to host the bachelorette party. Many go back and forth between a hotel or an Airbnb. If you’re trying to make the most of your crew’s budget you’ll want to check out Nashville Airbnbs and if you have a large crew you’ll want to check out this list by Thrillist of the best Airbnbs for Nashville bachelorette parties. For those groups more into a hotel, check out this Nashvillle Hotel Guide from KAYAK to lock down your accommodations.

For a Nashville bachelorette party, there are a few neighborhoods to stay in (and explore) that top our list.

  • Broadway— definitely the most expensive location to stay
  • Midtown— more the local vibe, mid-price for hotels/Airbnbs
  • Gulch— a very chic neighborhood, on the expensive side
  • Hillsboro-Belmont Area— a more relaxed and cozy neighborhood
  • East Nashville— described as having a ‘quirky’ vibe, but buzzing nightlife
  • Near the airport— it’s only 15 minutes to downtown

Set your Nashville bachelorette party up for success by starting the night in the city where the music never stops. Grab your bride-or-die girl gang and hit up Lower Broadway. Downtown Nashville is where you will find all the famous Honkey Tonks that put Nashville on the map. Lower Broadway definitely has it’s fair share of bars, and it can be hard planning out your bar crawl, especially if it’s your first time in Nashville.  If you fit into this category, check out this helpful article by Thrillist that lists, explains, and rates every bar on Lower Broadway.

SING YOUR HEART OUT AT NASHVILLE’S BEST KARAOKE

Us Nashville locals understand the need to grab the spotlight and belt your favorite songs when you’re feelin’ yourself.  Who knows? Maybe you will be discovered and become Nashville’s next music sensation. Visit Alan Jackson’s bar “AJs” and sing your heart out on the 3rd level, or hit up Wannabes down Broadway. Here are our favorite classic karaoke songs that we dare you to sing on your Nashville bachelorette:

  • Kelly Clarkson – Before He Cheats
  • Shakira – Hips Don’t Lie
  • Beyonce – Daddy Lessons
  • BRIDE BONUS: Ella Fitzgerald – At Last

DRESS FOR SUCCESS

Are you even at a Nashville bachelorette party if you aren’t all dressed like a Dolly Parton lookalike? Buy them boots! You can’t visit Nashville without taking advantage of the Buy 1 Get 2 Free boots specials. Visit any of the boot shops in Lower Broadway to grab your pair. With hundreds of styles to choose from, you are sure to find your Music City glass slippers.

A NASHVILLE BACHELORETTE PARTY IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE FOOD YOU EAT

Get out of Downtown – our favorite go-to area is 12 South for eats, coffee, shopping, and photoshoots.

Check out Frothy Monkey for coffee, (heaven knows you probably need it at this point) and then head over to Edly’s BBQ for some good eats. Edly’s BBQ has won Nashville’s “Best-in-BBQ” every year since 2013! Craving a cupcake while you’re out? Don’t lie, we know you are. Don’t miss the Sprinkles Cupcake ATM. If you thought the normal vending machine was your saving grace after a long night out, just wait until you experience this genius invention.

If your crew is a brunch-or-die gang, make sure to check out our Brunch Nashville Like There’ No Tomorrow blog.

It’s A Party, Mix The Days Up

While struttn’ the streets of Nash and experiencing the Honky Tonks is the most popular Nashville bachelorette activity, there’s a lot of other really awesome and fun things to do in Nashville for a bachelorette party and to mix up the weekend events.

Known as Nashville’s #1 party bike, Nashville Pedal Tavern will have pedaling through the streets while your host pours your drinks and entertains you with fire playlists and local tips. Some bachelorette crews prefer a private ride, but some find that joining a public party bike group makes for an interesting and fun day.

If your bride-to-be is a water girl, celebrating that ‘last splash mermaid bash’ or looking to get ‘nauti-cal’ or wanting to ‘tropic like it’s hot’ for her Nashville bachelorette— you’ll definitely want to check out a Nashville boat cruise. Nashville Toons is all about the pontoon lake day experience. Complete with a large lily pad, waterslide from the upper deck, beer pong table, and a cozy fireplace for the evening cruises, this is one lake day bachelorette party to remember.

Mint Julep Experiences offers a Sweet Start to Nashville tour that fills your morning with gourmet donuts, a flight of mimosas and guided transportation to Nashville’s best murals.

Take to the stage of a local Nashville bar to sing your heart out and have the girls yell “yes Yeconce!”. There’s a variety Nashville karaoke bars to choose from, you could even make it a fun karaoke bar crawl!

Build In A Day Trip from Nashville

If you’re traveling to Nashville for your bachelorette party, build in an extra day or two to travel to some nearby areas to take in the natural beauty and rich history of Tennessee.

Whiskey girls, this is your chance to visit the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg. There are a number of ways to get there, from driving yourself to a full-day guided tour of Jack Daniel’s. You can also head up to the Bourbon Heritage Center in Bardstown, KY (about a 2-hour drive from Nashville).

For the outdoorsy bachelorette parties, chase those waterfalls to Cummins Falls, Bugress Falls, or Cane Creek Falls. You can also take a drive to Chattanooga to see Rock City Gardens and Ruby Falls at Lookout Mountain.
