What is the Pedal Tavern?
The Pedal Tavern is a large group bicycle. It holds up to 16 people. There are 12 bike seats (10 seats have pedals) and a bench which sits up to 3 people. One person can be in the middle with the driver and help pass out drinks to the group.
Is there a motor on the Pedal Tavern or do we actually pedal the bike?
There is NO motor…this is all pedal power! Wear appropriate footwear.
How much does it cost?
It depends if you rent it by the seat or privately. Private tour pricing: Sunday-Thursday $350 or Friday& Saturday $420; Individual Seats for public groups are $30 per person.
How many people can ride?
For private tours you need a minimum of 8 people and you can have a max of 16. For Individual Seat tours your group or a combination of groups we put together must have a minimum of 8 people and can have a max of 16.
Does the ride stop and end in the same place?
No it does not, the tours/pub crawls start at the Tin Roof. The Broadway Route ends on 4 th and Broadway. The Midtown Route ends at Winners/Losers/Rebar Bar area.
How long is the tour/pub crawl?
Tours/pub crawls are 2.5 hours in length
Can we bring food and drinks on board?
Yes! The Pedal Tavern does not provide riders with any food or drinks. You can bring your own food and drinks, NO GLASS IS ALLOWED. We provide a cooler with ice and plastic cups for your group. ALL FOOD AND DRINK MUST REMAIN ON THE BIKE FOR THE DURATION OF THE TOUR.
How much food and drink should we bring?
Remember your tour/pub crawl is only 2.5 hours in length and your group will be making stops at bars/ restaurants with food and drink specials along the way.
Are the Route Maps the exact routes we take?
Routes are subject to change. We try to follow our Routes as much as possible, however road closures for events or construction may cause us to take a different path or limit the areas we can visit. We receive our updates on road closures from the Nashville Government Website.
How many bars/restaurants do we stop at?
It is up to your group. Groups typically make 2-5 stops during their 2.5 hours.
Are there any food or drink specials at any of the stops?
Yes! We have specials set up with select bars for Pedal Tavern riders only. At each stop your driver will let you know which bars are offering specials that day and what they are. Your group can then go to the bar of your choice at the stop.
Who drives the Pedal Tavern for the tour/pub crawl?
We have a driver who steers and breaks the vehicle for your group. Your group supplies the power by pedaling.
Where do we check in & board the Pedal Tavern?
Call in advance to book a time for a ride on the Pedal Tavern. Your group will check in prior to your outing at the Tin Roof (1516 Demonbreun St). If you are staying at hotel downtown, its about a $5-$10 cab ride.
What do we need to check in & how early should we arrive?
Each person will need their drivers license or ID. Your group will check in inside the Tin Roof and sign the waivers. Arrive 20 minutes prior to ensure your group takes off in time. Tin Roof offers all riders food and drink special prior to their tour. Group members who do not provide proper ID or sign the waivers will not be able to ride.
What’s the music situation?
We have speakers and an ipod feed built in.
What if it rains or the weather is bad?
Unless it’s really raining, we will ride. It’s actually really fun when it rains, groups have a blast. Plus there is a roof so you will stay pretty dry. The Pedal Tavern staff will determine if the weather allows the tour/ pub crawl to happen.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel 3 weeks prior the tour date for a full refund. Cancel 1-3 weeks prior, we give you a $100 Pedal Tavern credit which is valid for 12 months to use on a future tour.
Cancelation within one week, we keep your down payment or seat payment. All sales or deposits made within 1 week of a tour are final.
How fast does this bad boy go?
It's no Chris Johnson, it goes about 5 miles an hour, a perfect pub crawling speed.
Who can ride the Pedal Tavern?
You must be 21+ to ride.

Most seats the rider needs to be about 5’3” to reach the pedals. If you have people in your group shorter than that please notify us when booking so we can provide a bike with a few adjustable seats. Other options if you are too short are the bench seat, or bartend for the group.
How do we pay?
Call us at 615-390-5038 to book a tour. We accept cash, and major credit cards. You must pay at the time of reservation.
How do we know if it’s available when we want it?
Call 615-390-5038, to check available dates and times. First come first served. Your space is not reserved until a payment is received.
Is the Pedal Tavern dangerous?
It’s just like riding an exercise bike… No seriously as with anything some risk is involved, however very few injuries have occurred. Customers ride at their own risk.
